Fusaka (Dec. 2025) will introduce PeerDAS which will boost L2 tps to 12k+ tps next few months.
Longterm blob target (assume during 2026) will be 128+, leading to ~50k+ L2 blob tps.
Over next few months / years tps will be:
L1: 10k+ tps (featuring zk tech, 3-5 years)
L2 blob DA: 50k+ tps
L2 EigenDA: effectively unlimited (MegaETH 100k+ tps early 2026, theoretical max rn is 43M+ tps)
Scalability is a non-issue, stage 2 L2s & smooth interoperability next, ERC 7683 is already cooking.
@andrewfenton Definitely on a longer timeframe but 2026 could be reasonable to reach that.
