Chainlink Rewards Season 1 FAQ šā¬ļø
What is Chainlink Rewards?
⢠Chainlink Rewards is a community engagement and rewards program that enables Chainlink Build projects to make their native tokens claimable by Chainlink ecosystem participants, including eligible LINK stakers.
What is Season 1?
⢠Season 1 is the latest evolution of the Chainlink Rewards program, featuring nine Build projects and a more advanced claiming mechanism designed to provide eligible LINK stakers a more interactive, choice-driven experience that strengthens their engagement and connection with Build projects.
Which Build projects are featured in Season 1?
⢠Season 1 features the following nine Build projects:
⢠@Dolomite_io
⢠@spaceandtime
⢠@xswap_link
⢠@Brickken
⢠@FolksFinance
⢠@mindnetwork_xyz
⢠@Suku_world
⢠@TRUFNETWORK by @truflation
⢠@bitsCrunch
How does Season 1 work?
⢠In Season 1, eligible LINK stakers receive Cubesāa non-transferable, non-monetary unit of accountāthat can be redeemed for token rewards. Eligible LINK stakers can visit to allocate Cubes to the Build projects they want to claim tokens from. Cubes can be allocated to projects in any manner and can be adjusted any time until the final snapshot of Cubes allocations is taken on Dec 9.
What are the key dates to know for Season 1?
⢠November 3: Snapshot was taken determining Cubes balances for eligible LINK stakers in Season 1.
⢠November 11: Allocation period began where eligible LINK stakers can begin to allocate Cubes to the projects of their choice.
⢠December 9: Allocation period ends and a final snapshot of Cubes allocations is taken. Cubes expire after the final snapshot is taken.
⢠December 16: Claim period begins where tokens start to unlock and become claimable over time.
What are the eligibility criteria for Season 1?
⢠In Season 1, eligible LINK stakers received an amount of Cubes related to their historical participation in Chainlink Staking v0.1 and v0.2, based on the amount of LINK staked and time staked. Cubes accrual started when Chainlink Staking v0.1 launched and transitioned to tracking staking activity on Staking v0.2 at its launch.
How many tokens will I get per Cube allocated?
⢠Each project has a fixed pool of tokens for Season 1. During the allocation period, the redemption rate between Cubes and tokens floats based on how many Cubes have been allocated to the project. The number of tokens a participant can claim from a Build project is proportional to their share of the total Cubes allocated to that project.
⢠For example, if your allocation equals 1% of all the Cubes allocated to a project, you can claim 1% of the tokens that project made available in Season 1. A final snapshot of Cubes allocation will be taken on Dec 9, after which Cubes expire.
Can I receive tokens from each project in Season 1?
⢠Yes, participants can allocate their Cubes in any fashion, including allocating to each project (e.g., all to one project, spread across many, equal-weighted).
