When an asset moves like this, slowly, contracted, with no apparent direction, it means that it is building energy. And when the accumulation ends, the breakout is never 'moderate'... it usually explodes.
The point is that, as long as it remains within this range, my risk/return ratio does not make sense. Entering now would mean forcing and anticipating, and that is not what I want. I prefer to wait for a clean breakout of the area: if the price breaks out strongly, then I will have a clear structure to follow and a much more favourable R/R.
