Bitcoin Staking Arrives on OKX US

What’s new: OKX is bringing BTC staking to the US*, powered by Babylon technology. Babylon is a protocol that lets Bitcoin’s security secure other networks. This makes it possible for holders to stake BTC and earn rewards while still keeping Bitcoin as the underlying asset.
How it works:
Ensure you have BTC into your OKX account.
Navigate to the Earn view, select BTC, and choose the amount to stake.
Tap Deposit to confirm.
Anytime you want to unstake, you can — with a simple 7-day redemption period before your BTC returns to your account.
What you earn and what to know
Rewards are paid out in Babylon’s native token, BABY, and credited automatically to your account.
Reward rates depend on the BABY market price and can fluctuate over time — typically up to around 1% APR, with the current rate shown directly in the OKX app. Like any crypto protocol, staking carries risks: including market volatility, protocol or platform security issues, and potential slashing of rewards or principal if Babylon or the networks it secures experience problems. While OKX helps manage the technical process, it’s important to do your own research before staking.
